Terms of Service

1. Service Description

PIE (Property Intelligence Engine) is an AI-powered service that generates property investment research reports. Reports are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended for informational purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Accounts

You must create an account to use the service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide a valid email address.

If you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us immediately at support@try-pie.com. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Reports & Content

• Free preview reports are provided at no cost and contain limited content
• Full reports are available for $14.99 per report or via credit packs
• Reports are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies
• Reports do not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice
• You should always consult qualified professionals before making investment decisions
• PIE does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of report content

5. User Input Data

You retain ownership of the data you input (location, budget, goals). By submitting data to generate a report, you grant PIE a limited license to process that data through our AI providers for the purpose of generating your report. We may use anonymized, aggregated input data to improve our service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in connection with any illegal activity
• Represent AI-generated reports as professional financial, legal, or investment advice from a qualified advisor
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from our systems
• Share your account credentials with others or access the service through another user's account
• Use automated tools or bots to access the service in a way that exceeds normal usage
• Resell or redistribute report credits without written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the service's infrastructure

7. Payments

• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• Report credits do not expire
• Refunds are not available for individual generated reports due to the nature of AI-generated content and immediate delivery
• Credit packs: refunds may be issued for completely unused packs within 14 days of purchase. Partially used packs are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact support@try-pie.com

We reserve the right to change our pricing. Price changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Changes apply to future purchases only — existing credits and paid reports are not affected.

8. Intellectual Property

Generated reports are owned by you upon payment. You may share, distribute, and use reports for personal or business purposes. The PIE brand, logo, software, and underlying technology remain the exclusive property of PIE.

9. Service Availability

We strive to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee availability at all times. We may perform scheduled maintenance with prior notice. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable for any interruption or downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

PIE is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for any investment decisions made based on our reports. AI-generated content may contain errors or outdated information. Always verify critical data independently.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PIE and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your misuse of AI-generated reports — including but not limited to presenting reports as professional financial or investment advice.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data and reports will be removed within 30 days (see our Privacy Policy for details).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or harm other users or our service. We will provide notice via email where practicable.

13. Marketing Communications

By creating an account, you may receive transactional emails (account verification, report delivery). You can opt in or out of marketing emails at any time via your account settings. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect transactional communications.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you retain the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence as provided by applicable EU consumer protection law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically. For material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
